About High Flyers Tarifa

Kevin is one of the most experienced instructors in Tarifa (and therefore in the world!). I have been kiting since 2003, and have lived and worked here full time here in Tarifa since February 2006. I have a detailed knowledge of all the best beaches for us to kite each day, the wind conditions, the town, cafes and restaurants here in Tarifa and beyond.
 

I am your host for the week, will see you in the mornings, take you to the beach (if you don't have transport),  and generally give you the benefit of my 20 years of kitesurfing knowledge to complement your instructor's teaching. Beginner / Intermediate lessons are taught either by me or via the excellent instructors at my partner school: KiteBoarding Club. Book in for your lessons when you reserve your room.
 

I love the opportunities that kiting gives me to travel the world, from Bournemouth to Brazil, via Venezuela, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Greece, Sardinia and the mountains for snowkiting!
 

Before kiting became my work as well as passion I did a degree in Sports Science and managed various gyms and sports venues in London for over 10 years, and was a personal trainer and sports coach. I’ve always played football, golf, tennis, cricket – yep every sport in fact.

With my kiting I just love Big Air hence the name High Flyers Tarifa! I am also seriously into wave riding on my strapless board, and foiling.
